Jessica Stone – Medical Admin Diploma with City & Guilds AMSPAR Level 2 qualification

"After taking time out to raise a young family, I decided to refresh and learn new skills with a view to re-enter the workplace, with an interest in administration.

Through a recommendation, I am so pleased that I chose Pitman Training Worcester.  After an informal but very informative chat with Jazz, I chose to study a Medical Administration Diploma with City & Guilds AMSPAR Level 2 qualification.

The training centre offers a very welcoming, Covid safe and comfortable work environment and I have had the opportunity to meet some lovely people and also found their support vital when studying as a mature learner.

When I started the course, I lacked confidence in my abilities as it had been quite a long time since I had studied. Through the support, kindness and professionalism of Jazz and Stephanie, I have been able to achieve so much more than I ever thought possible.  Not only have I gained Distinction in all Diploma modules studied, I’ve also gone on to gain a Distinction in the AMSPAR/City & Guilds Medical Terminology Level 2 Exam. I really found the coaching and guidance on the AMSPAR qualification excellent.

I have gained much support and guidance on my CV writing, with mock interviewing skills and job searching advice and guidance.

Unbelievably, I secured a job through my very first interview! I now work as a Medical Receptionist in a Doctors Practice. None of this would have been possible without the support and dedication of the Pitman Worcester team."
