The Training
We offer over 100 courses, from individual modules in Keyboard Skills or Successful Meetings and Minutes through to full Legal Secretarial, Medical Secretarial and Executive PA Diplomas. With a range of Office Skills and Book-keeping courses we can give you the skills that employers want. Increasingly employers require candidates with real practical skills. The skills that allow you be effective and efficient in the role. That’s what we provide, day to day skills to a commercial standard. Employers love Pitman Training graduates because they know you have the standard they are looking for. That’s what allowed Lauren to move from packing shelves in a retail environment to being a Legal Secretary; Brae to move from being a trainee hairdresser to a Medical Secretary and Victor to change from being a Chef to an Accounts Administrator.

The Flexibility
Pitman Training Dublin understand that you don’t have the time to commit to long hours of training each week over years to find your ideal job. That’s why are courses are flexible, you can do as little 2 or 3 hours a week and because the courses are practical, there are no endless hours of study to contend with. Within months you can update your skills and change your career. Although some centre attendance is required, there are also options to study at home or in work. The lesson times are flexible so whether you work different shifts each week or are already trying to balance childcare and work, we can help.
The Centre
We are situated in the heart of Dublin, right beside the entrance to Pearse Street train station, with Dart, bus, train and Luas all within minutes walking distance. We have several training rooms dedicated to making learning easier, through delivering the right support in the right environment. We have a student canteen for quick cups of tea/coffee but are surrounded by a huge number of cafes and restaurants for longer breaks.
