Abigail announced as Student of the Year for Pitman Training Ireland!
We are delighted at Pitman Training to announce that Abigail Livingstone is our Student of the Year for Ireland!
A student at Pitman Training in Sligo, Abigail completed her Legal Secretary Diploma and was immediately successful in securing a job with Callan Tansey Solicitors, one of the leading practices in the North West. Her enthusiasm and determination was evident to the judging panel, and she has already begun working towards her next career goal of becoming a solicitor. Congratulations Abigail and we wish you continued success in the future.
“I chose Pitman Training because it’s a really well-known course,” said Abigail, “I wanted to do the Legal Secretary Diploma as I’m interested in working in Law, and I was delighted when I was nominated for this award. I couldn’t believe it when I was told! It really was quite a shock, but I’m very flattered by it, and it’s a big honour.”
The course tutors at our training centre in Sligo were full of praise for Abby’s achievements and said: “Abby is a hardworking, intelligent young lady. She has a great ambition to succeed and is now undertaking a course to qualify as a Legal Executive and has the full support of her employers.”

There were thirteen other finalists for the Pitman Training Student of the Year Award, and we congratulate every one of them for making it to the finals. The final decision for the judging panel was a tough one. Abigail and her Mum joined us for a special lunch and presentation including the award of her €1,000 cash prize.
