Pitman Training is not only highly respected in its own right, but also has important partnerships with a number of key bodies. Our training enables learners to access a wide variety of qualifications, and successful completion of each Pitman Training course gives our students a prestigious Pitman Training certificate to enhance their CVs.

AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians)

AAT is a leading international qualification and membership body for accounting and finance staff. Members include people working in accountancy, students and self-employed business owners. All AAT members are committed to continuing their professional development with the support of the organisation ensuring skills are kept up to date. Pitman Training has several AAT diplomas enabling students to gain recognised qualifications at both Level 2 (Level 5 in Ireland) and Level 3 (Level 6 in Ireland).

 

City & Guilds

City & Guilds offers learners the chance to gain qualifications that equip them to fulfill their career ambitions - these qualifications are valued by employers – many are developed in conjunction with key industry bodies so they’re relevant and up to date. 

CompTIA

CompTIA's vendor-neutral certifications are a great way to break into the information technology field because they provide a broad knowledge base and are not limited to only one product or company. Let Pitman Training help you achieve CompTIA certification.

CPD Standards Office

Many training programmes provided by Pitman Training are CPD accredited by the CPD Standards Office, and you will receive a certificate for your formal CPD records, which confirms the CPD points you have gained training with us.

 

ECDL

The European Computer Driving Licence® (ECDL) is the European-wide qualification which demonstrates competence in computer skills. Pitman Training centres offer ECDL, as it is a very well-recognised qualification which demonstrates your computing abilities to current (or future) employers . No prior knowledge of IT or computer skills is needed to study the ECDL.

European Social Fund (ESF)

The European Social Fund (ESF) was set up to improve employment opportunities in the European Union and so help raise standards of living. It aims to help people fulfil their potential by giving them better skills and better job prospects.

IAB (International Association of Book-keepers)

Most Pitman Training Centres are registered IAB examination centres to enable students to progress to take examinations in manual and computerised book-keeping. The IAB, which was established in 1973, is the longest established professional book-keeping body. It is committed to maintaining the highest standards in book-keeping, and holds its examinations in over 90 countries worldwide. AAT exemptions apply for some IAB Level 2 qualifications.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)

Microsoft Office courseware produced by Pitman Training follows the relevant Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) syllabus. Students may take a MOS test after successfully completing one of our Microsoft courses. The MOS certification is recognised internationally and it proves to any organisation that the student has reached a high level of working knowledge in the specified application.
