Pitman Training Sligo

Pitman Training Sligo is delighted to participate in the national Pitman Training bursary competition worth €20,000 as part of the inaugural Go get that job week which takes place between the 19th and 24th September 2011.

The bursary will entitle successful applicants to a combined tailor made programme of training that is relevant to them. They will also benefit from a structured course of career counseling that will include CV and interview preparation as well as work experience.

“We know how difficult the job market is for people at the moment,” said Margaret Cox, Director, Pitman Training, Sligo. “We wanted to make a practical contribution to people’s career that will make a real difference to their working lives” she said. We believe that the Go get that job week and this Pitman Training bursary will do just that,” she said.

The Go get that job week is a series of information and practical workshops that will help job seekers find employment or further develop their career. The schedule for Sligo is listed below.

“We’re hoping that people who need support with training and job requirements will drop into us in Sligo to avail of the expertise that will be on offer to them,” said Margaret. “Not only will our various workshops and events give vital information but we hope that above all it will build people’s confidence and help them get the job that they want.”
