Pitman Training Dublin are the longest established centre in Ireland. We have over 16 years experience in helping people secure their career goals.

We work with Dublin’s leading recruitment agencies and also regularly receive job vacancies directly from employers. These are posted daily onto our “Job Notice Board”. We will also provide detailed guidance on your CV and job application letters – it’s all part of the service we offer.
The Dublin training centre learning environment is relaxed and friendly, with highly experienced and qualified trainers on hand to guide you through your course. Mike Stewart, Training Director and Tutor has been working in Training & Development for over 20 years. His assistant, Frances Finnegan, is the Centre Manager & tutor, with over 12 years training experience. Along with Mike and Frances, our team of trainers includes Lucia, Izzy and Stephanie, who are always on hand to help and support you as you learn.
We open late from Mondays to Thursdays until 8pm and on Saturdays until 2pm. You can choose your lesson times to suit your own schedule and we will also arrange an easy-to-manage payment plan to spread the cost of the course, with no extra charge. Tax relief is also available on many of our courses so you can claim back up to €254.

Congratulations to Regina Finan who has been selected from Dublin to receive a “Pitman Bursary” of career development and a free Medical Secretarial Diploma. In total, Pitman Training Centres in Ireland gave away over €20,000 worth of courses to deserving candidates in order to help them achieve their career goals. We will be keeping you up to date with their progress and here is Regina's first update.

News and Events
Open Day Success
We held an Open Day in September here at our centre and this was a brilliant success. We had many people popping in for a chat, wanting to find out more about our courses and how Pitman Training help people to find work. A competition was held on the day and the lucky winner, Ciaran Lynch, won 50% off his course fees. We intend to hold more Open Day events in 2011 so register now to attend and we’ll keep you posted about the times and dates.
Pitman Training Dublins very own Ironman!
On the subject of ‘training’ – a big well done to Training Director, Mike Stewart, who completed an Ironman event (3.8km swim, 180 km cycle, and 42 km run) last July. “As I keep telling our students, it’s all about the training. With the right training under your belt, anything is possible.”

“I decided to do a course to enhance my skills due to the recession. I’m qualified in accounts, have experience in general office duties but felt very limited when searching for work. I decided on Pitman Training because they have an excellent reputation and Pitman Training Diplomas are recognised by employers.
I also liked the idea of being able to work at my own pace and the flexible hours really suit me as I live a good distance away. I’m now working in a hospital as a Medical Secretary only a few months into starting the course. I actually applied for an Accounts position and they were so impressed with my skills and the fact I’m attending a Pitman Training Medical Secretarial Diploma, they offered me a job as a Medical Secretary instead!
