THE WINNERS! ‘Go Get That Job Week’ €20,000 training bursary competition

CONGRATULATIONS to every one of our competition winners!

It was a tough job for our panel of judges but they came up with some very worthy winners who will each be studying a Pitman Training Diploma and advancing their careers.

Our competition winners have now all started studying Pitman Training Diplomas and over the next few months we will be following their progress.  This is a great chance for you to find out in advance what it is like to be a Pitman Training student and read of their experiences as they develop their skills and start their job-search programmes with expert help from Pitman Training Centres across the country.  Just click on any of the winners’ names below to find out more.  You can also ask them a question -  just email the Pitman Training Centre they are studying at using the contact form on this website.. In Cork, Martina is studying the Legal Secretary Diploma and told us.

“Words really cannot express my gratitude and thanks to you all at Pitman, but I hope that my commitment and dedication will demonstrate this. In my application I spoke of dreams, this is one of mine and I hope that it will encourage others to always follow theirs.”

The Dublin winner, Regina Finan, expressed her thanks as well.
“I still can’t believe that I won the bursary. I can’t wait for my first day, which is something that I can honestly say I can’t ever remember saying before in my life! I’m so excited about it! I’d write more but I’m just too happy to be able to come up with anything else to say. I haven’t been able to stop smiling since I heard.”

Niamh Lynch in Limerick chose to study the Medical Secretary Diploma and told us about her hopes for the future.
“I am delighted to have won the Bursary competition with Pitman Training - it truly is a dream come true. In times when the recession is biting hard for everyone it’s important to get the job that you deserve. Words could not fully express my gratitude for this chance and opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills I require to secure my future in employment.”
